#1829: Aphotic Blues

The word aphotic in latin means “without light” and is used to describe that place in the ocean where light can’t penetrate. Sometimes our worlds can feel that way, and we seek out what makes us feel good. For me, among other things, it’s electric guitar and a badass backbeat.

Blues has always been a way out of that deep darkness, so this week’s all about music that’s grown from the blues with the hope it’ll keep you above water. Hope you like it.
