#1625: Turned Out Light

Is the world going mad or has it always been?  As 2016 winds tighter and tighter and we all simmer in the summer heat, I decided to take a break from guest hosts and reruns and give you a new (albeit prerecorded) episode full of psych vibes, vintage and modern, to hopefully help to ease some tension.

Dig on some tracks from fresh artists like Nic Gyalson, The Black Delta Movement, Melody Fields, It’s Not Night It’s Space, and NYC’s own Mammoth Spirit.  Revisit old gems from Blue Phantom, Chocolate Watch Band, and highlights from this week’s featured album, Kaleidscope’s 1970 swan song “Bernice.”

Hope this episode offers you some small solace as you make your way through this craziness.  Take care of yourself.  Take care of each other.
